Bashing one’s mother is a serious criminal offense, apparently everywhere in the world except in St. Lucia!
This morning, HTS/Radio 100 broke the story on its 6.45 News that 27-year-old Shawn Blade Mohammed was jailed for 90 days by a San Fernando magistrate for beating his mother on Monday at her home in Pleasantville. He pleaded guilty to the charge.
Previously, we reported about a local politician who broke his mother’s arm during a dispute over property. This politician escaped scot-free and is now a Minister in our government.
How do you feel about this politician? Is it too late for us to do anything about it, now?
