A source close to the POWERHOUSE has reported
another gruesome homicide which took place at Forestierre yesterday evening (September 7).
According to the source, a woman (Eugene) who was an egg
vendor was allegedly tied, raped, shoot (with her husband’s firearm) and thrown
down a deep gorge allegedly in the Forestierre area.
This latest homicide which is the 7th
to have happened in the last 10 days takes the count for this year to 27.
The police should be issuing a statement later today.
Meanwhile, another shooting took place earlier this morning on the
Bagatelle bus stand; the victim was rushed by the
emergency services to Victoria hospital. There is no word on his condition yet.
The police needs to mount a strong and massive
response to the recent spate of shootings/homicides.
