THE POWERHOUSE IS GOING PLACES!

The Choiseul PowerHouse is “powering ahead” in Cyberspace with the speed of light. Some claim we are hard-hitting and controversial; some claim we are intellectual and academic! Some even claim we are political! Everybody is right! We are all of those things! We have a diverse global audience and it is our pleasure to stimulate your intellectual taste buds and we make no apologies for that. The bottomline is we are independent and have no affinity to any organisation: political or otherwise! We will continue to publish our "power articles"

We wish to extend special thanks to followers for their support. We also encourage you to post your comments and feedback on the Blog using the comments link following the Articles.

St. Jude’s Hospital under Water

Unconfirmed reports reaching the Powerhouse indicate that a ruptured pipe at the George Odlum facility which now houses St. Judes Hospital has brought about a massive flood at the building, resulting in a partial evacuation of patients from the facility to Victoria Hospital..

Reports suggest the many volunteers who came to rescue could not avert the disaster.

The Health Minister who arrived on the scene long after the damage had been done was trying to mobilize help and support – technical and otherwise – to bring the situation under control; it is reported that his initial efforts were almost in vain.

Let’s us hope the matter will be successfully resolved during the course of the evening and that the patients will be spared the worst.

An update will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

  1. I am so appauled that up to now with all the funds that had been raised for St Judes that much attempt has not been made to establish a new hospital. To my amazement, i notice that the old st judes building is been refurbished. Can someone tell me where the funds which were raised are ? Why can't we hear anything about the hospital for the south? Do we have to launch another inquiry?
