THE POWERHOUSE IS GOING PLACES!

The Choiseul PowerHouse is “powering ahead” in Cyberspace with the speed of light. Some claim we are hard-hitting and controversial; some claim we are intellectual and academic! Some even claim we are political! Everybody is right! We are all of those things! We have a diverse global audience and it is our pleasure to stimulate your intellectual taste buds and we make no apologies for that. The bottomline is we are independent and have no affinity to any organisation: political or otherwise! We will continue to publish our "power articles"

We wish to extend special thanks to followers for their support. We also encourage you to post your comments and feedback on the Blog using the comments link following the Articles.

LORNE'S A HIT!

The people of Saltibus, Londonderry, Gertrine  and Beausoleil  and the surrounding areas had a sneak preview of Lorne’s many talents during a Fundraising Karaoke and Barbeque held at Enba Coco in Londonderry (Saltibus) on Saturday Evening.  Several  multi-talented youth from the community performed admirably for the Night; and they must be applauded.

But perhaps the star of the Evening was Lorne Theophilus who performed two songs: "The Green, Green Grass of Home" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight"; but the hit of the night was “The Green, Green Grass of Home”. You could hear a pin drop as his beautiful tenor voice resonated through the still night air; and the crowd yelled and whistled for more.

Many of us are probably aware that Lorne comes from a family of musicians. His mum, Mrs Lusca Theophilus (popularly known to us as Miss Cox) was a music teacher who played the organ in Church every Sunday. His relatives from Cafeiere have also been known for their musical talent. Mr Ton – one of Choiseul’s violin virtuosos - stands out in that regard.

Lorne is also a song writer, an event manager and producer.

West Coast Promotions who provided the sound reinforcement and back must also be applauded for a great job done.
