Father Arul gave the SLP Conference and Representation Centre (aka SLP Choiseul/Saltibus Constituency Office) a glorious and inspirational Blessing on Saturday morning. The blessing was of course the brainchild of our next district rep, Lorne Theophilus (LT) who always puts Jesus first in all that he does!

The design concept for the Office came from LT himself and the final designs and retrofitting were done by Peter Bousquet, Sonia & Nathy Thornille and Vernon George. The office which is modern and pleasantly spacious comprises the following “sections”: a lobby, a conference centre, secretariat office and the office of the district rep.

The office was retrofitted on a purely voluntary basis with the members of the dynamic central executive playing the leading role. It was simply amazing how they were able to mobilise resources for bringing forth this model office.
When in full operation, it will provide among other things legal aid services, computer classes, internet café, and continuing education.
The grand public opening will be announced shortly.
