Over the centuries, the "natives" have invented almost everything; yes, overtime, we did invest in the pursuit of our own science and technology, our own economics, our own culture resulting in the invention of "patented' pottery, chairs and other forms of art and craft.
Barbara Jacobs-Small - who is herself a daughter of the soil - both epitomises and captures the journey of excellence that the 'natives' courted, in her own majestic narration.
The first video is a 5-minute infomercial; the second is a full 30-minute documentary
Sit back, relax and enjoy a taste of excellence.
Choiseul Come Discover
It is refreshing to visit this blog. I mean I really feel proud as a Choiseulian after watching this video. Seeing the late "Sabby", a Choseulian himself, is a cause to reminisce on the greats we have produced. The content here creates a good mix; the politics is there, but also health issues, Christianity, sports, news issues (local & regional), craft, and generally great issues happening in & out of Choiseul. Great work. It is totally admirable the amount of time Lorne and his team must he devoting to go to so many areas in the constituency (evident from the photos). I mean if this a reflection of Lorne's ideas and values then my vote is definitely for him.
