The headquarters for hard-hitting discussion on issues and sharing of up-to-date information deemed to be relevant to Choiseul/Saltibus and the St. Lucian diaspora generally. The mainstream news media have not always lived up to our expectations in publishing our views or news and information about us. The POWERHOUSE attempts to fill that gap. We encourage everyone, everywhere to participate by sharing news, views, ideas and opinions about any topic of relevance.
THE POWERHOUSE IS GOING PLACES!
The Choiseul PowerHouse is “powering ahead” in Cyberspace with the speed of light. Some claim we are hard-hitting and controversial; some claim we are intellectual and academic! Some even claim we are political! Everybody is right! We are all of those things! We have a diverse global audience and it is our pleasure to stimulate your intellectual taste buds and we make no apologies for that. The bottomline is we are independent and have no affinity to any organisation: political or otherwise! We will continue to publish our "power articles"
We wish to extend special thanks to followers for their support. We also encourage you to post your comments and feedback on the Blog using the comments link following the Articles.
Welcome to the POWERHOUSE family blog!
That crowd surely sets a new standard in numbers for politics in St. Lucia. The people are energised and "ready to go". I now understand why the detractors have every attempt to diminish it. I think that crowd has sounded the death-knell of the UWP.
ReplyDeleteI also understand why King cancelled his Address to the Nation on Monday night. If I were in his shoes, I would have done the same. MorEover, Kenny also put him on the spot with those questions he posed from the platform.
The UWPs are still in a state of shock and awe.
KING CALL THE ELECTIONS NOW
The DENNERY landscape painted red! What a glorious and harmonious blend of colour and people.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that at least people other than myself are noticing HTS's crafty and cunning gamesmanship when it comes to their camera coverage of political rallies since the last elections in 2006. Whenever it is UWP they broadcast wide shots of exaggerated expanse to give the impression that the flambeaus are pulling such vast crowds. But whenever it's SLP they only provide very narrow angle, constricted shots - their camera lens suddenly gets constipated - to give the impression of low turnout. Who does HTS think they're fooling? Don't we all know this is the station of Steve Anius, the former UWP candidate for Laborie, and the brother of Jacintha Anius-Lee, that rabidly flambeau woman? And who doesn't know where Linford Fevrier and Valerie Albert stand? But none of them can stop or prevent what's coming!
ReplyDeleteYou know what was really amazing about this massive crowd?...no free chicken, no free rum, no packed coolers with drinks,no free phone cards, no monies were paid..everyone came on their own free will
