The headquarters for hard-hitting discussion on issues and sharing of up-to-date information deemed to be relevant to Choiseul/Saltibus and the St. Lucian diaspora generally. The mainstream news media have not always lived up to our expectations in publishing our views or news and information about us. The POWERHOUSE attempts to fill that gap. We encourage everyone, everywhere to participate by sharing news, views, ideas and opinions about any topic of relevance.
The Choiseul PowerHouse is “powering ahead” in Cyberspace with the speed of light. Some claim we are hard-hitting and controversial; some claim we are intellectual and academic! Some even claim we are political! Everybody is right! We are all of those things! We have a diverse global audience and it is our pleasure to stimulate your intellectual taste buds and we make no apologies for that. The bottomline is we are independent and have no affinity to any organisation: political or otherwise! We will continue to publish our "power articles"
We wish to extend special thanks to followers for their support. We also encourage you to post your comments and feedback on the Blog using the comments link following the Articles.

ROBLOT LIMES WITH LORNE
Lime with Lorne moved to Roblot on Thursday Evening; but this time around “the lime” was more structured and focused.
LORNE FLANKED FORMER DISTRICT REP AND CHAIRMAN
The meeting was chaired by former parliamentary Rep and Bousquet’s nemesis, Ferguson John.
A SPIRITUAL MOMENT: THE MEETING BEGAN WITH PRAYERS
In keeping with Lorne’s faith, the meeting started with prayer; then to greetings by the chairman and campaign manager, followed by remarks by Choiseul’s next parliamentary rep, Hon Lorne Theophilus (designate) who received a rousing and enthusiastic welcome when he was introduced.
LORNE DISCUSSES HIS PLANS FOR ROBLOT
After a period of “social interaction” with the Roblot constituents, Lorne got down to business, presenting his vision, mission and plans for Choiseul/Saltibus generally and for Roblot specifically. His vision and mission –which was presented in great detail during his launching - is clear, consistent and can be summarized thus: To make “a good constituency better” (meaning Choiseul/Saltibus); and ultimately to make it great!
LORNE PRESENTS AT ROBLOT
He discussed his plans for health care, education, the economy, employment, social transformation and post-Tomas reconstruction. He gave clear specifics about Government’s wide-ranging job creation package, universal health care, education reform (namely broadening and deepening universal secondary education and the “universalization” of pre-school education); He also took time to speak on Government’s proposed $100 million economic rehabilitation programme and the Post-Tomas reconstruction programme.
MR ALBAN ASKS A QUESTION
After his presentation, he then engaged the constituents in a “question-and-answer” session. Many concerns were raised, especially what was reported as the deliberate victimization and discrimination practiced by the district in the distribution of hurricane supplies and the award of the infamous ti-canal contracts.
"SQUEAZY" ASKS A QUESTION
Roblot residents were also very concerned about:
a. the dilapidated state of the Myers Bridge-Montete Road leading into Roblot which they indicated was nearly impassable; and
b.the abandonment of community infrastructure in Roblot, reporting that no attention has been paid to the rehabilitation of the Roblot Community Centre and related facilities
"BARKAY" ASKS A QUESTION
The overriding conclusion was: only one set of persons got all the hurricane supplies and contracts while the majority of Roblot residents suffered.
Lorne pledged to get rid of those atrocities that seem to be characteristic of the reign of the current district rep and promised to give the constituency fair and just representation.
I see "Forgetus John" is going places; still very loved by his constituents. If you wanted to see that demonstration of love for Forgetus John, then you should be at Roblot last night.
But you know something, the Flambeaus are scared stiff of the "Theophilus name"; It was a Theophilus who destroyed Tucker in 1997 and again in 2001. In 2011/12, another Theophilus is well-padded to go to the crease. "Pippin" (Gilo) fraid like hell! Every time he sees the Theophilus "opening pair" together, he getting "caca glo"because he knows what's coming. History has taught them the lessons; but he en even see the full line-up yet. It will be licks for so.
Look I hear de Boss will suspend his project and rejoin de team full time; mama, look trouble ahead.
