“Ironically, Rochamel is St. Lucia's most successful experiment in the Hotel/tourist industry. Kenny’s boldness and vision resulted in a failing enterprise being converted into what is St. Lucia’s envy of the Hotel industry. Yes, there were costs involved; but with hindsight those costs approach zero compared to the magnitude of the benefits of Rochamel”

KENNY SURVEYS THE HUGE CROWD FOR WHICH HE WANTS TO BRING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION |
|
KENNY'S MUM IS PROUD OF HIS CONTRIBUTION TO SAINT LUCIA |
I always expected [what I would like to refer to as] the “Great Grynberg Folly” to have come down to just what it is today: initially, a huge “calculus problem to be solved”; now so “simplified” that any grade one student can solve it.
What are the ensuing repercussions? Naturally, the “inventor” [Richard Frederick] of the folly who is proudly honoured with the patent is running away from it with the speed of light - as he seems to have deserted his early forceful fabrications of “royalties paid to a minister” and now seeking shelter in new territory.
After the failure of the much-touted [royalties to minister] fabrication, it is obvious that Richard resorted to forcing “the King” to deliver an address to the nation thereon. When that too failed to “gather moss”, he caused a press conference to be convened. At the press conference he caused “the King” to deliver a manufactured chronology of the events surrounding Grynberg. He also caused our “bad boy” AG on the block to repeat the threat of impending legal action against Dr Anthony for violating the Mineral (Vesting) Act [once the review by his office was complete]

KENNY OUTLINES PLANS FOR ST. LUCIA |
But the Calculus has been so simplified now that a grade one student will understand that the King and his court were fabricating “more heat than light” about Grynberg, with their claims obviously “extinct in both”. I’m sure Kenny, a constitutional law guru [who is also part of the fearsome Triple A legal triumvirate of Anthony-Antoine-Astaphan], must have been not only laughing loudly at the legal absurdities of St. Lucia’s Einsteins in law headed by the incomparable Doddy, but I’m also sure he will be listening keenly for any suggestion or innuendo of defamation and malice.
Kenny [more than many of us] is fully cognizant that the whole Grynberg issue is just a cloud of dust to expedite the pursuit of a senseless agenda of hatred against him; and as the dust settles, the picture becomes clearer and clearer.
But the emperor who has already been stripped of his clothes will do everything possible to prevent dust from fully settling. Increased visibility will result in massive disillusionment and embarrassment. So here the conspirators go running in circle after circle. They moved from Kenny to Huntley; and then by a peculiar quirk of fate, d’Auvergne came into the picture with a missive he published in the Voice Newspaper accusing King of signing the Grynberg Agreement - a fact that Huntley corroborated. Huntley also revealed that Sir John supported Grynberg.

SOME OF THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS WHO WILL JOIN KENNY'S CABINET |

ONE OF THE CENTRES OF GRAVITY OF LORNE'S LIFE |
Meanwhile, as the truth from Huntley and d’Auvergne started to unfold and the ball being thrown back into the King’s court, the Emperor’s old clothes started to tumble down. In spite of this, he started to adopt a seemingly more proactive but equally boldfaced and undignified posture. Yes, he went straight to d’Auvergne’s “jugular” and flatly denied that he had ever signed any Grynberg agreement. He even suggested that d’Auvergne might have forged his signature.
The question to be unraveled is: How can the emperor and his government be contemplating legal action against Dr Anthony for fiduciary breaches against the state when according to Huntley and d’Auvergne he is equally guilty of those? Logically, there is only one tenable recourse: Denials and escapism! And that’s what he has done.

MORE MEMBERS OF DR GOVERNMENT ANTHONY'S TEAM |
Now that the old calculus of lies has been falsified, the ball now returns to the inventor of the story to develop a new calculus to bail him out of his dilemma. Hence, Richard and Doddy now have a triple whammy on their hands to deal with: their conspiracy to prosecute Kenny, their own fabrications, the culpability of their own emperor. I would be happy for this matter to be resolved in a court of law. I would be happy for the AG to act in accordance with the law by taking the matter to court, for I am sure that the judgment on the Grynberg natter will be similar to Tuxedo Affair with more “Chastenets” unmasked.

LORNE: HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY |
Tangentially, if we look at the Grynberg matter vs the Ausbert Regis case, we will notice a striking parallelism between the two. In that context it is very difficult to reconcile the Minister’s “vociferousness” on Grynberg vis-à-vis his “vow of silence” on the Ausbert Regis dismissal case now before the courts. According to the St. Lucia constitution, the removal of the Commissioner of Police from Office is legally within the purview of the Governor General in much the same way that Richard and Doddy claim the Grynberg agreement needed her signature. Also being the legal guru he claims to be, why didn’t he offer legal counsel to his Cabinet colleagues on the Tuxedo issue?

MINISTER OF YOUTH & SPORTS, HOUSING OR AG? |
Finally, let us examine Grynberg in the context of Rochamel. There is evidence that the Government is very much aware that Rochamel is a success story deliberately caricatured into a hate campaign against Kenny for electoral purposes. King is perhaps searching for his own “Rochamel” success but has failed. He failed La Paradis, he failed Black Bay; he failed in Bois d’Orange [Daher Building]; he failed the 7000 jobs test, he failed the Hess Oil Refinery test etc, etc . . .

ST. LUCIA'S BEST TOURISM MINISTER IS COMING BACK |
There is every possibility that we may discover oil through lateral drilling; and despite all the spin and hypocrisy, deep in government’s heart they long to convert Grynberg into their own Rochamel success story! Why do you think that Sir John was overwhelmingly in favour of Grynberg? Why do think that King signed the agreement? – albeit, he is unaware he did it?
And so, I end as I began:
“Ironically, Rochamel is St. Lucia's most successful experiment in the Hotel/tourist industry. Kenny’s boldness and vision resulted in a failing enterprise being converted into what is St. Lucia’s envy of the Hotel industry. Yes, there were costs involved; but with hindsight those costs approach zero compared to the magnitude of the benefits of Rochamel”
Kenny deserves a round of applause for his boldness, initiative and vision in that regard. I still have faith that one day we will discover oil and Dr Anthony’s vision of economic transformation of St. Lucia will become reality.
Thanks in advance, Kenny! We love you and stand by you and your vision for St. Lucia. May God bless you!
Good insight into this Red herring, however, I still believe that there is more to this matter. Yes, Richard is obsessed with KDA, but is he the only one?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it passing strange that PM, King took to the air as soon as ailing cancer patient RickWayne made his return to St. Lucia?
Isn't it passing strange that Rick, prior to his return would call "NEWSSPIN" and continue flogging the "real" dead horse (Rochamel), just before revealing that his information on Grynberg, is far worst?
It is my conviction that this ploy was Mr. Gay for Pay, Rick Wayne conceived and the bunch of empty-headed wastes of space failed to realize that he continues to be irrational and his situation is compounded by his obsession with KDA. From the get-go, Rick was able to convince King & Co, that the demise of Labour lies in the destruction of Kenny.
It was easier for Richard to champion the cause as he, like Rick, has always been envious of Kenny Anthony. Kenny is a thorn in these guys backs, not only because of his ability to provide stewardship that's above board, but his expertise in Constitution law is directly conflicting with their obvious intent to abuse the weaknesses in the system for personal gain.
Grynberg has never been an issue and Sir John was well aware. He also placed our Geothermal Resource in the hands of those "HE" deemed fit to carry out exploration back in his time. The only idiot here, once again is King. He doesn't even know what he signs.
The people of St. Lucia will be too happy if Oil is found in our waters.
So, this is the Great lady who gave birth to this great son of the soil! Mamma Anthony, thank you so much for that great gift to mankind. God will bless him for all the good thing he has done for St. Lucia. You must be proud.
ReplyDeleteThis Gov't is wicked. Grynberg has spent over $60 million on oil exploration in our waters and Richard and King want to kick him out? Is that how we treat investors? Think of the signal this sends out to potential investors. And on top of that you have a foreign Minister who charges consultancy fees to investors.
ReplyDeleteLet them go on. In the end, Grynberg should sue them and Richard and King should be surcharged because of their stupidity.
That is just the beginning of the story!
