President Barack Obama |
Kenny is currently not in Gov’t; but many of his detractors cannot disabuse themselves of the fact he is not! If he were, I would compare him to Obama and I would liken Rick, Richard and Doddy etc as Super 8 “Tea Partiers”.

Dr Kenny Anthony |
Indeed, Dr Anthony has become the target of the same politics of hatred that Obama has been plagued with. But the good side is both Dr Anthony and Obama have handled the attacks admirably, like true statesmen, not immersing themselves in the mud bath prepared for them by their haters!
Just this week, America found itself at the cross roads of history; and it was a real litmus test for this great country. Tempers flared and jumped at each other in unprecedented way. It is claimed that even Vice President Biden had a bite.
According to several sources, Vice President Joe Biden joined the House democrats in lashing tea party Republicans, accusing them of having “acted like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit.

Did VP Joe Biden call the Tea Partiers "Terrorists" |
It is disputable that Biden truly said so. But this is not the case with Republican Mike Doyle who did not “put water in his mouth” during a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting. An angry Doyle categorically referred to the Tea Partiers as terrorists. He said. “We have negotiated with terrorists . . . They have no compunction about blowing up the economy to get what they want.”

Congressman Mike Dyle called the Tea Partiers Terrorists |
It was not only Doyle who said it. Spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said: “The word was used by several members of Congress”.
It is alleged that Vice President Biden joined the democratic chorus and he said that the Tea Party Republicans acted like terrorists - a claim that Biden later denied during an interview with CBS.
However, Biden did tell the Senate Democrats that Republican leaders had “guns to their heads” in trying to negotiate deals.
Politico.com reported that Democrats had no shortage of colorful phrases describe Republican Tea Partiers in wake of the debt deal.
For example, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) called it a “Satan sandwich,” and Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said: “the Tea Partiers and the GOP have made their slash and burn lunacy clear, and while I do not love this compromise, my vote is a hose to stop the burning. The arsonists must be stopped.
Biden told Democratic lawmakers that the deal would take away the tea party’s “weapon of mass destruction” — the threat of a default on U.S. debt obligations.
There is a striking parallelism between what is happening in the US and St. Lucia. The Flambeau Super 8 crew championed by Richard and Doddy is now busy burning haystacks in search needles to pin Kenny. I have never seen a worse display of statesmanship.
So, just I say "hats off" to President Obama for his exemplary presidential behaviour, I say "hats off" to Kenny for his exemplary conduct as a leader. Irrespective of the wasteful challenges of our "lost" and puerile government, you still look prime ministerial.

ReplyDeleteKing has to be St. Lucia’s Joker of the year. It’s more than 100 days since he said elections would be in 20 days’ time! He signed the Grynberg agreement; but he delivered an address to the nation condemning Kenny for signing it. Look he now said that you don’t plan for a hurricane. These are all clips that piqued. Where are you Timothy?
They're both Rufus-intolerant, ie. St Lucia & the USA.
