What is this vehicle doing at all political events in Choiseul/Saltibus? Is it part of the Tucker campaign 'fleet of vehicles"? We have been reliably informed that this vehicle was a donation to the Soufriere Development Foundation by SEQUOIA. If this is the case, then why is it involved in Tucker Campaign all across the Choiseul/Saltibus constituency?
Let us be fair to ourselves and the organisations we represent.

Meanwhile, we wish to call on the Soufriere Foundation to investigate the matter and take the appropriate and necessary steps to avoid any further embarrassment.
Let us respect ourselves and our dignity as a people and let us be judicious, discrete and responsible in the way we use our resources, especially gifts/donations designed for specific purposes.
Tucker himself should demonstrate firm policy leadership and advise his happy-go-along, willy-nilly "campaign strategists" against "crossing the red line" of discretion and political wisdom.
I am a Choiseulian living in castries nad i want to add my voice to what is going on? reports reaching me indicate that PM King summoned Rufus/Tucker to a meeting on Monday to discuss the disappointing meeting in Choiseul Village? Imagine! these fellahs were counting Choiseul as a safe seat. I guess, they were also counting VFort North/South, Laborie and Soufriere as safe seats too!
ReplyDeleteFor your information, these seats form the cradle of Labour. Soufriere was unstable once upon a time - especially when the economy was doing very well under Compton. Soufrierians listened to reason and moved with Flambeau at that time. But since the advent of Kenny, labour support in Soufriere has crystallised irreversibly. Perhaps, Choiseul is more labour than Soufriere but certain issues inside the Labour party and complacency among Labourites enabled Bousquet to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. But Labour has stabilised again and this is obvious! Based on the profiling of support for Lorne, the biggest surprise in this election will be the exodus of Flambeau defectors to Lorne. That perhaps explain more than anything else the extremely low turnout at the UWP national meeting held in Choiseul village.
I want to use this opportunity to encourage Choiseulians to turn out in large numbers and support Lorne. I have know him from his early days and he has always impressed me as someone who is always up to the tasks. He has talent, vision and most importantly he is dedicated.
i think he will continue the good work of his mother, father and the Theophilus clan. You will never regret your support for Lorne
Listen not even Castries North is a Flambeau safe seat! These guys are a bunch of crooks-all of them. Can you imagine they gave Rick Wayne fifty thousand dollars when he was sick in Miami, when thousands of young people are seeking financial assistance to take care of their medical problems!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame-Rick is an old steroid bag and can afford to look after himself.

ReplyDeleteCAN YOU IMAGINE? MY BROTHER RICK WAS SINGING FOR HIS SUPPER EVEN WHEN HE WAS ON THE HOSPITAL BED IN A CRITICAL CONDITION, DYING FROM PROSTATE CANCER. BE PREPARED FOR MORE SINGING WHEN HE GETS BACK HERE. NOW THAT HE HAS "LOST HIS BALLS", WE CAN EXPECT EVEN MORE "JAMMETTE BEHAVIOUR" NOW!JUST MY IMAGINATION!

There's also word on the ground that he "compelled" the Carnival authorities to postpone it till October, hopefully after elections
