Many of you may have heard of “Mr Brooklyn New York” and many of you may be eager to meet him. But who is “Mr Brooklyn New York” – the man with the powerful, baritone voice who everybody wants to meet?
Mr “Brooklyn New York” hails from Morne Sion/Fiette. His real name is Mr Cletus Peter and he is the son of Mrs Austine and the late Mr Austinie. His Mum, Mrs Austinie is now in her 90’s. He has a large extended family both in Choiseul and the diaspora.
“Mr Brooklyn New York” who is a good friend of Sam “Juke Bois” Flood was in St. Lucia recently to attend the funeral service of an older brother. He has a strong sense of kinship and an extremely pleasant personality; but he is more than that!

He migrated to the USA a few years ago but still maintains very strong ties with his community. He makes regular contributions to both school and community. Every year, he donates a quantity of stationery supplies to the Mongouge Combined School, which is most welcomed. He is truly a Good Samaritan to Mongouge, Morne Sion and Fiette.

Thanks Mr Brooklyn. Bousquet has deliberately ignored Mongouge Combined. What kind of man makes children suffer because a community did not vote for him? Only a "BOO-WO" does such a thing.
