The scene of dead or dying children together their dead mothers, their fathers and extended family is nothing easy. Perhaps many of us who were on the scene last night didn’t sleep and may still be in a state of deep shock and awe. In view of the magnitude of the accident and its potentially negative psychological impact, I recommend Critical Stress Incidents Debriefing (CSID) to victims' relatives or anybody who may have been significantly adverse affected.
I revisited the scene this morning and saw one more dead body being washed by the waves and I couldn't help shouting “Oh my God!”. The death toll has increased by 1 to 16; and the "cumulo-nimbus" cloud of shock and grief which hangs over Choiseul shows no sign of dissipating any time soon.
